Box Tops for Education, Support Pi Beta Phi Elementary!

 

Don't forget we are collecting Box Tops for Education to donate to Pi Beta Phi Elementary for our Centennial Celebration! Everyone is encouraged to collect Box Tops from now until October and we will send in our Club Donation. Send your box tops to our Co-Presidents Suzi Morris-Kuenster (30423 N 42nd St Cave Creek, AZ 85331) and they will send to Headquarters on behalf of our club. We will also be collecting your Box Tops at our Membership Brunch on September 8^th!  Collecting Box Tops is a simple way to participate and make an impact as we continue promoting literacy and supporting Pi Beta Phi Elementary.

Just look for the Box Tops logo on hundreds of products like Cheerios^®, Hamburger Helper^® and Kleenex^®, in almost every aisle of the store. Phoenix Panhellenic Philanthropic Projects Committee Announces a New Partnership with PGA Tour's Tickets Fore Charity Program, Purchase Your Tickets Now!

The Phoenix Panhellenic Philanthropic Projects Committee is pleased to announce a new opportunity... a partnership with the PGA TOUR's TICKETS FORE CHARITY program!

 What does this mean?  Simply ... SPREAD THE WORD of our new CUSTOM LINK Support Panhellenic - TICKETS Fore CHARITY to your friends, family, co-workers and golf enthusiasts to purchase tickets for the 2012 Charles Schwab Cup Championships 10/31-11/4 at Desert Mountain Club Scottsdale!

For each ticket purchased through our custom link, Phoenix Panhellenic Association will receive 100% back.  The program is a fabulous opportunity for a non-profit like us to earn money to build the Phoenix Panhellenic Scholarship Fund.  It is really that easy, just FORWARD THE LINK.  All ticket purchases go through the PGA, which means you do NOT handle money OR deliver tickets.  Tickets will be distributed directly to purchasers by the PGA by mail or at Will Call.  Should Phoenix Panhellenic Association be a top ticket seller in the Tickets Fore Charity program, we have the opportunity to earn "bonus awards" up to $12,000.  If each sorority sold only 6 tickets (@100 tickets), Phoenix Panhellenic Association could raise over $2,000, and so on.  Please continue to spread the word and the link through October 31, 2012.

The 2012 Charles Schwab Cup Championships also has a need for volunteers to assist at the tournament.  

The PGA TOUR staff has recommended a number of opportunities and please note these do not include concession staffing.

I am attaching a PDF that should answer most of your questions about the 2012 Charles Schwab Cup Championship and Phoenix Panhellenic Association's participation and also a PDF flyer that can be emailed or printed if you prefer.  

This is the first year the Charles Schwab Cup Championships will be held in Scottsdale. This opportunity is an EXTRA philanthropic project for Phoenix Panhellenic Association, in addition to our annual partnership with the Waste Management Phoenix Open.  We were asked several weeks ago by The Thunderbirds and the PGA for our assistance.  More information about the Waste Management Phoenix Open will be made available at our 1st Panhellenic meeting in September.  In the meantime, PLEASE save the dates - January 28-February 3, 2013 and encourage scheduling the tournament as a chapter event in your calendars.

Phoenix Alumnae Club is in the Top 10 for the Foundation!

Congratulations and thank you all for your donations and ongoing support to help us reach this goal this year!

We are in the Top 10 for Foundation giving for fiscal year 2011-2012! The Foundation’s Top 10 is determined by total giving and includes gifts for the Friendship Fund, scholarships, Emma Harper Turner Fund, The Literacy Fund, Holt House, Arrow in the Arctic and more.

Last weekend (Saturday and Sunday, July 14-15), the Foundation announced the Top 10 Alumnae Organizations on their Facebook page. Starting with the #10 alumnae organization and ending with #1 on Sunday afternoon.  Our club was the last club announced; number one in the country for Foundation giving!!
