Here are some of the open postions we need to fill.  Is your name supposed to be on one of these roles? :-)

Treasurer (and Member of Exec Board) - deposits checks, does reimbursements and pays bills, manages the club budget

VP of Membership Outreach (and Member of Exec Board) - assists the VP of Membership, in particular helps to retain current members and reach out to other Pi Phis in the area who are not club members

Panhellenic Alternate - attends monthly Panhell meetings when the Delegate cannot attend (or may choose to go every other month, switching off with Panhell Delegate)

Fraternity Day of Service Was a Huge Success!

Phoenix Alumnae Club made our goal of collecting 100+ books at the Fraternity Day of Service Kick Off Party for UMOM New Day Center!   Thank you to everyone that came to volunteer for this great event.

Volunteer for Fraternity Day of Service

Join thousands of Pi Phis across North America this March as we celebrate Fraternity Day of Service. Now in its eighth year, this special day is celebrated on or around Dr. Seuss’^® birthday, March 2, to advance literacy in our communities. You can make a difference through literacy service! 

The Phoenix Alumnae Club and Arizona Beta will celebrate Fraternity Day of Service at UMOM, Arizona’s largest homeless shelter, with seventy children. The children will participate in twelve difference activities or stations – each centered around a Dr. Seuss book, in celebration of his birthday.  They will make craft items and create great memories!

 

The event takes place Saturday, March 2 from 12:00-2:00   Please volunteer to make this a memorable event for the children. RSVP to philanthropy@phoenixpibetaphi.org for this worthy cause.

 

By giving your time, you are not only advancing literacy, but also supporting the Fraternity’s 100-year literacy vision: Pi Beta Phi leads the way to a more literate society.

Event Cancelled: Day at the Races Feb 2nd

Sadly, we did not get enough people attending to enable us to hold the event this Saturday. 

If you pre-paid, Heather will be mailing you a refund check in the coming week.

We will hold the event next Spring and hope to get enough in attendance then.

Phoenix Panhellenic Association Outreach Event

The Outreach Committee would like three women to share their Greek experience at the afternoon Outreach Event on April 7.  Three women would speak about their sorority experience and how it has impacted their lives.  The five minute testimony of each women representing a different age group:  recent college graduate (20 - 30 years old), established career woman (40-50 years old), and retired sister (60+ years old) would allow the attendees to connect with the different life stages of Greek life.  Please pass this email along to your individual chapters.
